At Inneractions Therapy Services, our mission is to provide quality services to our clients in an environment of safety, innovation, empathy, and respect. We are excited to serve our community in two convenient locations in the Greater Atlanta area. Our Marietta office services Atlanta, Buckhead, Marietta, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Smyrna, Sandy Springs, Cobb County, Cherokee County, and Forsyth County. Our Johns Creek office services Roswell, Alpharetta, Suwanee, Johns Creek, Duluth, Cumming, Fulton County, and Gwinnett County.
Our therapeutic approach is to use our client’s strengths and interests to create personal growth and powerful change. Depending on their strengths, interests and abilities, we may use approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy techniques. Our techniques are grounded in evidence-based practices and developed to meet each client’s needs. We utilize these approaches through discussions, art, technology, play, creative expressive therapy, therapeutic gaming, mindfulness, team challenges, and psychoeducation. Our goal is for our clients to leave with an understanding of themselves and the role they play in social situations. We want our clients to have a “tool box” filled with techniques and coping skills to use when needed, as well as effective ways to express themselves and manage the many stressors of life. We want to give them the tools to be successful, understand their actions and subsequent reactions, and give them the internal power to succeed.
In our initial consultation session for all therapy services, our clinical team member will help you identify the specific goals you and/or your family want to achieve. Our therapeutic work then involves collaborating with you/your child/family to reach goals as quickly as possible. Through therapy sessions with our experienced team, we will help you/your family address specific areas of difficulty, build on strengths, change behaviors, and/or learn new skills. As therapists, we strive to be open, understanding, and non-judgmental, and we are respectful of each person’s needs, goals, and values.
In response to the spread of COVID-19, we are offering increased access to telemental health counseling services and smaller group sizes in the office. Please contact the office for more information.
