By working through the hard times, it gives us an opportunity to grow and better ourselves.
Polina is a psychotherapist who, over her years of experience, has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and group therapy. She has honed her skills while working with those struggling with life stressors, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, social skills, parenting skills, divorce, and more. Polina is a licensed professional counselor and nationally certified counselor who graduated from Mercer University earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before which she earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University.
Polina’s goal in therapy is to work collaboratively with you to build up the strengths you already have and use those strengths to address the concerns. She believes in having a safe, yet fun and engaging space that allows you to grow. Each person is unique, and so Polina’s therapeutic approach is adjusted to your specific needs. With this in mind, she uses an integrative approach to therapy. This allows her to pull from several different techniques, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, solution-focused, and person-centered.
