Rebecca Lanier, MA, LPC, LMFT

Rebecca Lanier, MA, LMFT, LPC is a psychotherapist who is passionate about working with

adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. She graduated from Richmont Graduate

University with her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. She earned her bachelor’s degree

in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia where she specialized in

Human Development and Family Science, Family Life Education, Entrepreneurship, and

Intervention. She worked at Equipping Quality Youth Development Professionals (E-QYP) and

Family and Community Resilience Laboratory (FCRL) to further her knowledge of the interplay

between community, family, and susceptibilities that mold human development.

Rebecca aims to provide a safe and uplifting environment for clients to foster their authentic self,

gain insight regarding themselves and others, engage in positive peer interactions, and build

self-confidence. She utilizes an eclectic mixture of counseling techniques including

emotion-focused, experiential, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, play, and other creative

therapeutic techniques while keeping the client’s specific needs in mind. Rebecca draws from a

person’s strengths and support network to find creative solutions to their goals.

Rebecca enjoys working with neurodiverse couples, individuals, and families. She specializes in

ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, and

mood disorders. Rebecca leads therapeutic gaming, process-oriented, and social skills groups and

provides virtual and in-person services at the Marietta office.

Rebecca is Gottman Level 1 Certified and Prepare/Enrich Certified.
