Shiobhan Sheridan, LPC, NCC, RPT, MA

Shiobhan is a licensed professional counselor and registered play therapist who enjoys working with children, adolescents, parents, and families in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. She is experienced in working with those who struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, grief, social skills deficits, life transitions, parenting support, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anger management, and other behavioral and familial complexities. Her counseling is available in individual, group, and family settings.

Above all, Shiobhan’s goal is to provide a safe and accepting space where clients can identify, create, and implement solutions. To achieve this, she uses an integrated therapeutic approach, drawing from a variety of modalities that are customized for each client’s specific needs. These modalities include; child-centered play therapy, solution-focused therapy, strength-based therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Her holistic style emphasizes the importance of family involvement, encouraging caregivers’ active participation throughout the course of therapy. As the mother of six children, Shiobhan’s training and experience help families as they navigate their way through their own unique challenges.

In her free time, Shiobhan enjoys learning and trying new things, exploring historical places, and savoring chocolate.
